GPU only gets hot in Rocket League?

I'm still relatively new to the whole "Pc thing" and don't know my way around very well.

Every game like Overwatch, Minecraft etc. All run very cool (GPU around 50 ° C). In Rocket League (a game that doesn't need a lot of power) the graphics card gets an average of 65 ° C. I play the games at the same FPS number

Is this normal or is there a problem?

I thank you in advance!

Is completely normal, as long as the GPU is not at 85-90 degrees everything is in the green area.

It can't be ruled out that the frame rate is unlimited, which means that an infinite number of images are calculated in advance to show your 60hZ or so, smoothly.

It is advisable to limit the maximum number of images calculated in advance to a maximum of 120 in the graphics settings of the graphics driver. This prevents the card from running extremely warm, although the display can't show more frames per second than are calculated in the system.

a lot of modern games have this limit in their settings, especially when compared to old games, they often ignore this setting and calculate an unlimited frame rate, because the older graphics cards could never have done as much as possible anyway.

Ja

There are games that use the graphics card more than others.

That's because of the programming of these games.

It is also possible that the GraKa's fans often switch on and off. So the game temporarily pulls higher performance.

The temperatures described by Alpakaol are hot at a GraKa.

Would the FPS be limited to e.g. 60 if that is too hot for you! However, 65 ° C is really still in the green area, my graphics card is partially warm to 80 ° C and everything is still going great!
