Minecraft Forge won't open?

I installed Minecraft Forge, but it didn't open automatically. There was also no desktop icon and there was nothing for apps either. I then went to the% appdata% folder and then .minecraft but Forge was not there either. Where should I search and how can I open it?

Ps: I installed version 1.7.10

First of all, I haven't played an MC for a long time, but:

search in the .minecraft folder for versions, if that is still not enough to find it, then search for other downloads for Forge Downloads, and if that still does not work then use Fabrics, the same as Forge is only a few mods but more secure.
