Minecraft: Can you ride lamas?

You can put on saddles and llamas carpets. I put on my one carpet but can't ride it, just sit on it. Can you even ride them and if so how?

According to Minecraft Gamepedia:

"Llamas can't be controlled while riding, even if they're decorated."

So they just walk around.

But I think you can pull those with a leash through the area to get your luggage from A to B.

If you want to ride, only the horse actually goes

Thanks, then I'll have to look for a saddle. And how do I get my luggage on the Lama?

Ehmm check the Gamepedia. Something with a box, or push on "e" when you sit on the lama
