Sense of minecraft bedrock?

What is different about Minecraft Bedrock than in the Java Edition that so many people want it to be?

al

Minecraft Bedrock:

based on another language (C ++)
better performance
Cross Play
no free implementation of texture packs, mods and so on
Extras cost extra

There's really no reason to use Minecraft Bedrock unless you have a very poor platform. In addition, the Java Edition has a larger community and experienced players.

Di

So no real advantage apart from crossplay, which is actually standard anyway?

Dr

Crossplay is neither standard nor possible in the Java Edition…

Crossplay means that with e.g. Mobile and PC can play together.

And no, not really a noticeable advantage

Dr

Although… I have to correct myself.

There should be server software with which you can play with both Bedrock and Java Edition:

But I doubt that this is going really well

al

Exactly.

Whether crossplay is an advantage can be seen either way. Sure, in the Java edition there's only PC to PC, but this is not really a limitation, since many have a PC or have their own who play Minecraft.

Nowadays no one has any performance problems with Minecraft, unless you get into the thing with mods, which in turn is not possible with Bedrock.

vo

Bedrock is simply called "Minecraft", while Minecraft has been renamed "Minecraft JE". Many people are tricked into accidentally buying Bedrock.

Apart from the Crossplay, Bedrock is an inferior product.

vo

What should be "standard"?

So you do not fall out of the world
