I have a problem with Minecraft Java Edition. The in-game chat can't be opened, even by pressing the "T" key several times (default key for the chat). I've tried several "Minecraft" versions, but none of them worked. It's not the keyboard, I've tried different models and can type without any problems. What can I do to fix this error?
Take a look at Settings under Key Assignment, on which key you have the chat
Press ESC and go to the options and then to the controls then there's chat and next to it the hotkey for it… You can also change it there
Go to the settings under controls you can maybe put it on a different key
You may have changed something in the settings that you can simply change again
