I downloaded Minecraft Dungeons with my Game Pass and started the game. Then the entire PC crashed (no blue screen, just everything off). Then the PC didn't turn on until I plugged it in and unplugged it (it's a desktop PC). What could that be? Is any part broken?
Do you know which components are built into your PC?
Yes!
CPU: Ryzen 5 2600
GPU: MSI RX Vega 64
PSU: The model doesn't know one of beQuiet
MB: Gigabyte B450 DS3H
SSD: MX500
So everything looks fine from the components (unfortunately I don't know how much RAM you have). If you can access the desktop, try to deinstall the game and do a new installation ^^
I try it.
Look in the Event Viewer and look for warnings and errors.
Make a note of the event ID and google for it.
Before the crash there were several errors with the ID 10016, but most of them say that there will be no crash
Unfortunately it didn't work
If a PC crashes without a blue screen, it is 95% due to the power supply that either the ghost is lost or is too undersized. Try a new power supply. You basically had to reset the power supply unit because a fuse has blown in it.
The game started. Then the entire PC crashed (no blue screen, just everything off).
Overheating (mostly dirt) or power supply (too cheap = performance FAKE / too weak / too old)
take a photo of the large power supply sticker
Then the PC didn't turn on until I plugged it in and unplugged it (it's a desktop PC).
Because the BIOS setting is Power OFF on AC-loss, it only helps to pull out the power completely & wait or switch it to ON
https://docs.microsoft.com/...ssing-dcom - but already the first entries in google seem to at least show that there are people with crashes who also specify this event ID. 🤔
Does this only happen in Minecraft Dungeon?
Does the software happen to be based on Java?
