Can someone tell me how to pick up a block from my inventory with one click?

Example: if I build a house and do not have wood in my hotbar but carry it with me, I can click on a block of wood that has already been installed and then move my inventory to the hotbox.

Yes, so if you want the wood on slot 3 now, move your mouse over the wood and then press the 3.
