Good recording program which does not make huge recording files?

I'm looking for a recording program that takes up HD, uses very little CPU (because in the background without Opera, Minecraft and OBS 10% of the CPU is used) and does not make huge recording files

I once saw such a recording program which takes up a GB in 10 SECONDS!

Audacity, you can easily stay under the GB for 10 seconds.

Furthermore, you can save CPU resources if the GPU is strong enough and you can use them

OBS is the right program in this case. All you have to do is just lower the bitrate a bit. Then, depending on the setting, the video quality is worse, but then you have a smaller file.

Rescale output to 720p
Encoder x264
Quality regulation method CBR
Bitrate 8000 - 12000 (if the file is still too big, smaller)
Processor utilization very fast
