Is an NVidia Geforce GTX 1060 3GB enough for a shader?

Hi! I want to create a new PC and wanted to ask whether an NVidia Geforce GTX 1060 3GB graphics card is sufficient for a shader in Minecraft (the PC is used).

The main memory is 16 GB (DDR4-SDRAM). He has an Intel Core i5-6600K.
