Forge 1.7.10 can't start?

I downloaded some old modifications for Minecraft 1.7.10 but could not start it!

Why is that? Have the newest, the most popular, the 1.7.10 pre4 and 1.8.0 tried, nothing worked. Is already for 2 days so, there's no new version available.

And you expect, that we guess, which error messages you get or what is in the error log, how are your starting arguments, etc? Have fun waiting for helpful answers. Only without details, nothing will… Sorry…

Are you coming to the launcher? Is a LOG file created? Which settings did you change? Any info you can give around it? System data, did Minecraft ever run without Forge? Which Forge installed? How much Ram assigned? So completely un dgar without any information you really can't help. Sorry.
