Why does the login in Minecraft Launcher not work?

I recently created and bought a new Minecraft account. I just downloaded the launcher and wanted to register. However, it does not matter whether I enter my password correctly or incorrectly, that my email address or password is invalid.

I've changed my password 3 times now, but still got the same error message

I was able to log in as normal on the mojang site, but not in the launcher to this day.

Is the email really the right one?

Did you possibly download a wrong Minecraft, which is not suitable for PC? First check whether everything you have downloaded is correct.
