Minecraft aether mod completely different?

I downloaded minecraft aether 2 via rich but it is completely different than eg. The aether in the YouTube project minecraft Sky! Was it just completely revised or do I have the wrong mod?

Yes, but it was also installed in Sky

Well, when the Aether 2 mod came out, the mod wasn't even nearly finished and very glitchy. In the meantime this mod got extreme updates.

Pretty much everything was reprogrammed.

There are also hardly any similarities to the first Aether Mod

I personally like the new version.

But I also like the first version of Aether
