My question is about Minecraft Forge, what exactly is it? If someone could just tell me half way, that would be great. I also wanted to ask if you can take the Tektopia mod not only for the 1.12.2. On this website,

can one download for 1.12.2 and Minecraft Forge does that also mean for the 1.14.4 version as long as Minecraft Forge is up to date? Or is that something different and does not work that way. If someone could help me, that would be great.
