Draw Minecraft Mods Graphics Performance?

If I have no mods in Minecraft and activate a shader I can play with a high, stable frame rate. (120-150 fps)

In another version of Minecraft I have some mods. If I play in this version without shaders, the fps are almost as good. But when I insert a shader, the fps are rather low and fluctuate very much. (70-40 fps)

The mods also do not improve Minecraft graphically. There are a total of 20 mods. And the only thing these mods do is add new plants, trees, ores and creatures. I always thought Minecraft mods only affect the CPU… Is it normal that such mods, with shaders, lead to such performance issues. The Minecraft version with the mods is utterly the 1.10.2, but it does not really matter to the version… Or?

My PC:

CPU: i5 6600k

Graphics card: GTX 1070

Ram: 8GB

So I'm currently using mods and my processor is at least 80% and my ram is 20gb

The processor will most likely throttle the graphics card since Minecraft needs so much of it and the graphics card's high performance can't help.

And by the way, what do you all need so many fps for? So 120 - 150. Do you have a 120Hz monitor?

You'll probably need a newer processor because objects do not actually affect graphics performance - if only particles.

Au

Shader are but graphics card lastig and the Render Distance you can turn down a bit because of the CPU.

I know that already, but he said that he has stable frame rates without Shader mods.

Do you read the question correctly?

Au

Yes, but why should the CPU limit large? It seems to be the version in combination with shaders or mods.

Go

Why should the version have something to do with it? Besides, he mentioned that the mods only add objects and do not improve graphics.

Au

Without mods: good FPS with shader.

"Other version: Mods without shaders": just as good

"Other version: mods with shaders": jerk.

On the mods alone it should not be so, so not synonymous s.der CPU.

@GamesNic And no, at the CPU it is not. As I said: Without shaders and mods I have more than 200 fps… With shaders and mods but I have much less fps. So it can't be up to the CPU.

Go

Well, as I said, the mods pull on the CPU. But if you think that's not it, then please.
