Rent Minecraft Server - which site is recommended?

I want to rent a Minecraft server. There I would like to play together with a friend in survival mode. Later maybe with a few mods. So we're 2 players.

What can you recommend to me for pages? I have looked times in the reviews for MC Host24 and read there only positive. Also, I have informed me about nitrado. For the month of September, however, I have read bad experiences that the servers are overloaded and it just lays.

What can you recommend to me? Currently I tend to MC-Host24. Or do you have other suggestions? And can one terminate the contract for the server monthly?

sc

I can't confirm these lags at Nitrado. There were problems with desyncs in one of the recent newer Minecraft versions when there were too many players in the world. That was due to Minecraft. Since the update everything is running clean.

My recommendation is therefore Nitrado. There you pay without a subscription with his credit.

Host unlimited

Are the cheapest

je

And by far the worst.

I speak from experience.

Mieser support
Constant server crash
Utilization ads are useless

Al

Thank you for your answer! How does it work if I rented the server? Do I have to give my friend only the IP address of the server and he can join? Or is it more complicated?

je

It may not be the best, but I'm happy with Zap hosting.

Good support
Stable servers
Good backup system
Acceptable prices

Do yourself a favor and keep your fingers out of Host Unlimited. That was the worst hoster I have ever seen.

Slow support, which partly makes queries easy
Constantly crashing server

I can only recommend mine hosters. Can always adjust how many on the server which mods should run on it and if your mod is not there, you call the support and install it to you. They are also super friendly. They explain everything exactly to you. Are not bound by contract.

Well, I pay for a quarter of the price as with others
And service always reports within 24h hrs

sc

You just have to send him the IP address of the server and he can join. The stands at Nitrado right there.

Stable Server, Good Support. I'm sorry, but I can't conclude these two points.

Apparently they have been doing maintenance for over a year. There had tried several products: vServer, Root Server and Minecraft Gameserver. All velvet are strongly "slipped" at the smallest loads.

At the support they always told me they had some maintenance and they would be over soon.

Friends of mine have experienced something similar. One of them even bought a server for 100 Euro. At some point, they simply deleted them and said that they had deleted them themselves. Of course, the support has returned the server to him

Dr

Yes… A quarter of the price, but only felt a hundredth of the power. I would even rather use zap hosting than host unlimited

ju

Well the hardware is the same as Nitrado

And everything is up to now

In order to play Minecraft in pairs, it is not necessary to rent a server, there are several alternatives:

Run a server on the PC and share the port on the router or use a virtual network (easy with Hamachi)
Enable the LAN option and use a virtual network
Use one of the free providers

If the Minecraft server is to run permanently, I can also run it on my server, which at the time did not do much anyway.

I can only speak of my experience and this is absolutely negative at Host Unlimited.

I had to give up my server because it just was not playable anymore. The site also loads extremely slowly. Restarting the server took forever.
