I would like minecraft modpack with 2 friends game i have 2 questions. Which modpack exactly we do not yet know, probably FTB Infinity or Sevtech ages.
1. Which provider can you recommend?
2. If Minecraft is running on the server Do you still need just as much RAM yourself as if you let it run in single player?
Infinity is of course a great pack. Unfortunately a bit outdated.
If it's supposed to be like Infinity, I would recommend https://www.curseforge.com/...ft-eternal, it works very well and offers an experience similar to Infinity.
A server gets by with a little less RAM than the single player version. But with three people it should be more.
I've been very satisfied with Nitrado for the last 6 years when it comes to modpacks. We were able to play both Infinity and MC Eternal with 6gb Ram without any problems. Even in the endgame with umpteen loaded chunks and permanently running machines there weren't any major problems.
Even if people think Nitrado is too expensive, the performance speaks for itself.
Thanks for the answer but I guess I formulated your 2 question a bit poorly. One of us only has a regular laptop with 4GB of RAM. Could it then play without any problems through the server (if the server has enough RAM)?
If the pack is running on him, he has no problems on the server. The server does most of the work.
