So I rented a nitrado server and installed minecraft galactic science on it (1.7.10) but when I want on my server it says Failed to login: The authentication servers are currently down for maintenance what should I do? Because why is the server down?

These are the login servers that do not need a lot of power or electricity and therefore run for free via mojang - since mojang also manages the minecraft accounts, the server has to run at mojang

This message has nothing to do with Nitrado, it is issued by the Mojang authentication servers. That usually happens when you don't have an original Minecraft, but an old account from some site.
Test whether your Minecraft has been purchased correctly and log in to Mojang with your access data. If that works, then ask Nitradosupport what's wrong.
