I have the problem for some time that I can't join the server "Griefergames.net" as long as I'm connected to my Wi-Fi from home. (So it works with the mobile hotspot) So I can join all other servers but not on Griefergames. Does anyone know why this could be and has a solution for it?

Do you have any such guest access at home or something? If you do not have full access, it may be that you do not have IP-BAN info! Most of the smaller servers do not care, but larger ones want to protect themselves from duplicate accounts.

That looks like a port lock for me. Can you connect to other servers? If not, probably one parent of you has the port: 25565: blocked. Either through a separate firewall or an integrated firewall in your Rooter.

Ping has its own protocol (ICMP) and has nothing to do with the availability of a server.
A server can also be reachable / active without doing the ping pong… The server or the router decides if he plays along…
