A buddy of mine made a minecraft server and now i have to multiply villager. I have 3 librarians but despite the original village and enough beds, they can't multiply because they do not keep carrots.
is that possibly due to a gamerule like mobgriefing or something or because they have other jobs than the farmer?
As far as I know, this is only possible with bread

Villager also have inventories. The Inv is probably full (but they also empty it if, for example, they put their wheat in a composter.)
Maybe exhibited the pug can pick up items?
Do you know the name of the gamerule?
Do not react to it
The gamerule mobGriefing prevents mobs from collecting items or changing blocks.
Because of this, your villagers can't pick up food and consequently can't reproduce.
