As I said, I'm looking for a texture pack. Well, actually I already have one. I've also downloaded it. It is also available in Explorer. But if I go to Minecraft and go there "open this folder", I'm directed to Explorer. But how do I get the pack from Explorer to Minecraft? So far I have not found anything on YouTube or anything like that.
If you could send me the answer or a YouTube (or other…) link, that would be really nice.
Dear horses LOver2006
You have to drag that into the Minecraft folder to be more specific (I think) in the Texture Pack folder.
Hope it works.
Where is this folder / how do I find it xD
Do not own Minecraft itself, I'm sorry.
Ok, thanks anyway
Just press [Windows key] + [R]
Then a box will pop up where you can type something, just type in [% appdata%] (ignore parentheses), and then you will be directed to the Appdata folder, where the roaming folder is, in which the " .minecraft "folder is located.
In this there's a folder called "resourcepacks" and there you can just pull the texture pack and it is already in Minecraft after you have restarted (believe it is enough even if you close the settings once and then open again).
I did that. But it still has not surfaced in the resource packs, and I still can't push it to Minecraft?
What does "pushing you to Minecraft" mean for you?
Push = somehow hinbekommen it works xD
So all this is now in the Minecraft folder, but it's still not in Minecraft
In what kind of file is the texture pack saved?
Well it is a zip file, normal folder, rar file etc?
I know about 0, but it looks like a folder just with something like a zipper on it, if that helps.
I can't say more about that, I know myself as I said 0 off.
So theoretically it would have to be a zip, did you restart Minecraft?
Yes, several times
Then please post pictures of the contents of the folder + how Ingame looks like
I'm not getting any screens right now?
For example, with Lightshot
What?
What is Lightshot xdd
A program to take screenshots that you can upload directly (so I can see it)
I do not, or at least not aware
Then just download it
The downloaded resource pack must be in the resource pack folder:
% AppData% \. Minecraft \ resource packs
It may be that the screenshot is not identical to your system (since I use WinRar to manage archive files)
In the folder it is actually, abebr is still not displayed
Hab
What does the Resourcepack content look like?
So just open it.
The whole thing should look something like the following picture
Then make screens and send the link in here
That's how it looks
Have the reeingesxchickt as a new answer here
Do you have any idea yet? Spontaneously, I would not think of anything at the moment
In the assets folder a minecraft folder must be present and in this afterwards only the next.
Did you download the resource pack for the right MC version?
The whole was updated for the 1:13
If you open the folder from Minecraft, is the file available?
Stupid load the pack again down maybe yes, any file is corrupt.
If I open out of Minecraft, how do I find the folder "Minecraft" (which I usually find with this & appData% or something)?
If you open the directory from Minecraft, a new window should open that has already opened the correct path. From the top line (address line) you can copy out the path.
That comes then, but with me there's "The folder is empty"
In that case your resource pack folder is different due to the MC installation (eg by a modpack). You should move the resource pack file to the "empty" directory.
I did that. And now?
Now you look in MC, exit options menu and back in (or restart)
Oh man, how can you use a different path than the default path without knowing it?
Anyway (would be interesting to know anyway)
Do not know, do not know me from xD
Gotta learn off now. Morning class work.
You should make sure that you open Minecraft in the version that the texture pack was intended for, otherwise it may not be displayed
Another question:
Is the same synonymous for maps (worlds) you downloaded?
Yes
You have to draw worlds into the "saves" folder, which is also located in "% appdata% \. Minecraft"
