Minecraft raytracing with GeForce not working?

I did everything as described.

New drivers installed and I signed up for the Minecraft beta in the insider hub.

I don't find the raytracing setting anywhere in the gforce app or minecraft.

The semicolon (or how it is written) button does not switch anything.

Or

What Minecraft do you have?

Lu

Which version of Minecraft do you use & which graphics card do you use?

Gr

Do you also have an RTX graphics card? Otherwise I don't think this option will be shown at all.

gr

The Windows 10 version. It says there

gr

Minecraft windows 10 and 1660 great.

Should work. Recommended from 2060

gr

Clear. 1660 great

Dr

This is not an rtx graphics card…

Dr

This is not an rtx graphics card…

So it won't work

gr

Naturally.

Rtx was submitted later and works too!

Gr

Okay very funny then. And you also play the current version then? So not 1.0 or so special 1.15 or which version you can already play XD

Dr

How do you want to submit something via software if 1. The previous cards are probably too weak for it and 2. Extra cores are needed for rtx (or am I wrong?)

gr

I've now uninstalled Minecraft several times. It's also in beta.

My graphics card can rtx, with mw it works too

gr

You explain it to me. With cod it works too

gr

Nevertheless there's rtx support.

Dr

I think you can activate the option… But then nothing will change.

You can currently only use raytracing with the rtx graphics cards!

gr

I checked again and the 16 series also supports ray tracing. I'm looking for a link

gr

Only I have the super and not the normal one

gr

And at GameStar it is said again that the 16s also work theoretically, but Nvidia recommends them from 2060

Dr

Theoretically…

But as you can see it is not going very well.

I also doubt that the Bedrock Edition rtx has already released for the 1660.

I think they will only release the option on rtx cards

gr

Doesn't bother me, I just want to see how it looks.

What a bedrock edition?

Or

The calculations can also be carried out on standard GTX cards, which I personally find rather difficult, since, as you said, the GTX cards are too weak for this. This requires the extra cores, but they are not absolutely necessary for ray tracing ^^

Dr

The Bedrock Edition is the name of the "Win10" edition

Dr

If you just want to know what it looks like… Just watch a video?

Kh

I don't think I'll come out until 7pm tonight, but I'm not sure

gr

I read it too and still can't turn it on
