I've only had Laggs since upgrading to the 1.14. The TPS vary down to 8. I ran a timing report (PaperMC-225) https://timings.aikar.co/?id=4f52dbf7b9b24211b04a184a9f3b07da
When the server was still running on the 1.13.2, there were not even Laggs with 10+ players. Now the TPS drops already with 2-3 players the most disgusting.
Maybe someone can help me.
To my specs:
CPU: Intel (R) Xeon (R) CPU E5-2630 v4 @ 2.20GHz (my vServer has 6 cores assigned to it)
RAM: 16GB installed, 15 assigned to the server
SSD: 400 GB / on it is only the MC server
Java: 8
Plugins (54): AdminTools, AntiWorldFly, ArmorStandTools, BanManager, BarAPI, BetterAlias, Blackjack, CCLogger, ChestCommands, ChestShop, CobbleGen, CommandSigns, CompatNoCheatPlus, CraftingStore, CrazyAuctions, DiscordMC, DragonServerAnalyser, Essentials, EssentialsAntiBuild, EssentialsChat, EssentialsProtect, EssentialsSpawn, FastAsyncWorldEdit, GoldenQuests, GroupManager, IslandWorld, ItemRank, Landlord, LiftSign, LogBlock, Lottery, mcMMO, MobArena, MultiverseCore, PartyChatSpy, PerWorldInventory, PlayerParticles, ProtocolLib, ProtocolSupport, React, SignEditor, SQLibrary, SuperbVote, SuperVanish, TuxTwoLib, UltraChest, Vault, VoidGenerator, VoidSpawn, Votifier, VoxelSniper, WorldEdit, WorldGuard, ZavMessage
I would say that in the case of the Minecraft server it does not have enough RAM.
15GB for a server with 2 players. That's utopian. The Laggs are no more and no less, whether 8GB or 15GB are assigned.
But there are a lot of plugins installed…
But when I threw most of the plugins in the test run, the laggs were still there.
Which operating system is running?
Maybe there's a TickProfiler plugin, I do not know exactly.
My mod server was also on laggen.
Then I put a TickProfiler Mod on it, then it ran.
