Change Minecraft spawn protection location on server?

I bought a Minecraft Sever on Zap Hosting yesterday. I've already created a world and built a small building a few blocks from the spawn and set the worldspawnpoint there. My question now is whether the spawn protection has also changed there because I have changed the worldspawnpoint. Since I do not want the house to be dug, I would like to have around 15 blocks of spawn protection around the house.
