Why doesn't anyone see my messages? (Minecraft)?

I love playing Minecraft and especially on servers.

The problem with servers, however, is that I see other people's messages, but they don't mean them. My girlfriend wrote hi. Then I also wrote hi but she couldn't see it. If we play in our own world, however, it works. In addition, it is with everyone that they do not see what I write. Can someone tell me why? If so, what can I do about it?

On everyone. But with Griefer Games it actually works with Hive, Mineplex, etc. Nobody sees that
