Why can't I see any more animals on the server?

On my server, I found that I no longer see animals. On my Minecraft it can't be, because I once tested the server on 1.14.2 with ViaVersions, and then gejoint with 1.14.4. Everything worked. In singleplayer everything works fine. At my server, I currently use paper-174 or spigot-1.14.4 with both it does not work. On the plugins it could be synonymous, because without them everything works.

I still hear the monsters and will attack in Survival, but I do not see them even with Optifine. I would like to stick to Paper 1.14.4 and nothing is available in the console, e.g. No error message.

It would be nice if someone could help me.
