Can you invite friends to a single player world at Minecraft Java Edition (1.7.10 with mods)?

You have to open a forge server…

Doesn't work without further ado. Either use Hamachi or enable it in the router port. Or you are looking for a free host like aternos

But that will also be difficult because of the mods.

Yes do not know how it is with aternos with mods but otherwise I see no problem

You can use the [ESC] menu to say World Share and then share the port (previously specified by Spel) in your router to your PC and tell your "opposite" your Internet Ip: port. Then it works
Sounds complicated - it is. Find a public server to join:-)

I can only speak from my experience with forge mods on servers and it often just didn't work. Plugins, on the other hand, almost never cause problems.

The easiest way is when your friends are at your home and have the same mods installed as you. Then you open your world in the LAN and they can also join you, but they also have to be in the same Wi-Fi as you. So it is rather bad if the friends do not have a notebook or the like. Otherwise you host a free server at Aternos.

Never had any problems and most of them play modpacks where everything has been tested and there are ready server files so I see no problem

Is difficult because my girlfriend lives in Brazil 😂

This only works via Hamachi or in the LAN

Then it becomes difficult no matter how you make it difficult, since one of you two will always have a very high ping xD. But try it anyway with Aternos

No, it works without Hamachi and not in the same network. We have been playing it privately for years.

Can you maybe help me with my latest question?

Un

In the LAN without port release or something, just release the game and say to the other: PCNAME: PORT
Hamachi, puh, I think after releasing the game, towards your HamachiIP: PORT
Remember Windows Firewall. Who hosts either open port or turn off the windoof firewall ^^
