I bought Minecraft Jaca a few years ago and now I want to play with Minecraft Windows 10, but I don't want to buy it again. I read that you can get it for free, but all links are out of date and so I wanted to ask where you can still get it for free and if so how?
That was actually a promotion, but it was years ago and you have to buy the Bedrock Edition now.
At that time you could convert your Minecraft account into a Mojang account and secure a free code via a link. You can log into the Mojang account and see if you have a Win10 code there, but I think they didn't just put it there. Back then you had to request the extra.
However, I recently had the phenomenon and bought a Minecraft Java code and had a Win10 code in the Mojang account to redeem.
The gift codes for Win10 editions are also available for less than 5 euro… You can then redeem them in your MS account and activate MC-Win10 for little money.

You can download Windows 10 Edition if you have Java now. I wish this offer came before my dad paid for both editions
