I currently have the following build:
i7-4770, 16GB DDR3, GTX 1650
And a 400W Seasonic power supply. Therefore, without a graphics card, I still have around 150-200W left for a graphics card.
In my games (Minecraft with shaders, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, GTA Online) I notice more and more often that the computer is reaching its limits.
Which graphics card or which other step in the upgrade would you recommend? The price limit is 300-500 euro.
Minecraft almost always has problems with shader because it is based on single core performance
a bigger upgrade than the 1660 super is hardly worth it, unless you want to push the limits and take them with you later.
disadvantage graphics cards are just 20% more expensive than normal because of the days
The CPU should actually be upgraded to keep up with the new graphics card. I could also imagine that the CPU is the bottleneck in many games
An Nvidia GTX 1660 Super would fit nicely. Unfortunately, the card (like all others) currently costs too much.
Then it's probably worth the wait.
How long would you wait
Until the prices are back to normal. That is probably the case against a Q1 '21
