Minecraft redstone structure no longer works?

If I build this structure and connect a dispenser, it is not automatic. But I copied it 1: 1 and also watched 5 videos about it + read comments.

Two years ago it worked for me too. Maybe that was patched?

Well, it's automatic. You connect a dispenser, which automatically shoots everything out for you. And when you have a crafting table at hand, you can duplicate it.

So no clock, there's easier than that.

Sure, but that's just used for duplication. I don't know if that's possible with others. Because in EVERY video this construction is used.

A lot has changed in Redstone. You can try jumping into an older version and trying it out there.

What is supposed to automate the structure?

Yes is stupid too. But you have to do it on the PS3. Since the world is only 5000x5000 and if you play a lot, all diamonds are quickly gone. And that is not the case, you have to duplicate it. Otherwise you will never have diamonds without cheats in this world again.

Much is not possible in 1.15 what went in 1.12 or 1.8

Oh yeah that's really stupid. I don't think I can help you then either. I only know that the duplication is abolished in the Nether Update.

So now I made about 20 stacks out of 18 diamonds.

With redstone circuits something is constantly changing. Unfortunately, this means that old circuits / instructions often no longer work.
