Java (TM) Platform SE binary draws 4,400.00 MB.
My friends only get 2,000.00 MB:
What should I do against it?
Not loading 200,000 entities and gigantic worlds with Render Distance 48?
Didn't understand
When you start the minecraft launcher you can press on it for instalations then you will be shown all versions that you have if you now go over a version with the mouse you press the 3 dots and then edit then you click on more options and at - Xmx do you then do 2G then the game / jave only uses 2 gigabytes of ram (tip you should always assign half of your ram to minecraft then it works best)
No problem.
Simply reducing the amount of RAM allocated doesn't solve the problem that Minecraft wants so much RAM.
The game has to need this RAM somewhere, otherwise it wouldn't allocate it. If you just limit the RAM, things won't be cached and the game might even run slower. You should see what you're doing in Minecraft that it takes so much.
