Redstone experts?

I wanted to build a functioning keycard system in my minecraft house. Then I took thejocrafz's second outorial. This technology also works, but the door only stays open for a very short time. So I built a compensator on it that usually works. But here it acted as a clock that goes out after a certain time. The door opened and closed a few times and then the power went off again. Please Please help me

Build a memory that powers the door and a couple of repeaters that assume that the door will automatically close again after a certain time, or reset the memory

When a short signal comes in at the top left. Then the door opens until the repeaters have run through once, and then it closes again.
Depending on how many repeaters you switch between, the longer it stays open.

You can certainly use this technique on your goal
