When set to "Peaceful" in Creative Mode. Are there any bats left? If so, how do I get rid of them in large rooms?

You can't get rid of them in peaceful mode, they don't belong to monsters but to animals that means either more torches / lanterns or you can't get rid of them. It was also annoying for me in the knight's castle but I lit everything and everything was good 😅
