Minecraft Base Ideas?

I'm currently planning a base for my new Minecraft world. I would like to build in a medieval style (maybe a bit fantasy too). Now I don't know what to build on the mountain (where the question mark is). Do you have any pictures or ideas?

On picture 1: The picture is unfortunately the wrong way round, but this is the mountain from the front. Where the question mark is, I still don't know what to put.

To picture 2: The whole is the view from above. Where the green is darker, it is higher and where it becomes lighter there's a gradient. I might want to build the village myself.

So what about a big guard tower or a mini fortress kp?

So a castle definitely belongs to the medieval areas, but you can also build a large half-timbered house or a mansion. I would recommend you simply enter "Middle Ages Buildings" on the Internet and then click pictures, because you should surely find what you are looking for there.

Very good ideas. Especially the second appeals to me. However, I'm still missing something special and my own and do you know what kind of block pallet I could use?

I would work with stone so for the basics and the rest, but to decorate it better I would end up doing a bit of wooden pallets. You have to decide for yourself which wood you use.

Yes, the only problem with stone is that it looks monotonous in larger areas.
