You can buy a cape from mods like BAC, Optifine, Labymod or similar. This costs differently depending on the mod and only the users of the mod can then see the cape.

If neither of them really suits you, you will unfortunately have to wait until you switch from Mojang to MS accounts. There you also get a cape as a reward, which everyone can do.
