Minecraft which is better? Leather with protection 3 or slide with protection 2?

I wanted to ask if leather armor with protection 3 or slide armor with protection 2 is better? C

Diamond armor with protection 2 is better

Tested on version 1.15.2

Attacker:

Slide sword sharpness V

Defender 1:

Full slide armor with protection II

= the damage suffered in a fully charged attack is 2 damage points.

Defender 2:

Full leather armor with protection III

= the damage taken in a fully charged attack is 4-5 damage.
