Can other Minecraft Labymod players see my emotes?

My friend sees my Labymod emotes is not that normal? He has Labymod version 3.3.4

A problem that often happens is that he or she is not connected to Labymod Chat. Means that he sees your emotes, he and you must be connected to the Labymod Chat.

So if you press the ESC key, there's multiplayer, chat, tags and something else up there. You press on Chat and then there's "Connect with Chat", as soon as this is done, it should work.
