I kidnapped a villager in my cellar and I put a lectern next to him but he does not want to change the job. What to do?

Actually meant release version. The change with the professions, I think only with 1.14.

Maybe it's because the old job is still too close to his position.
If so try to reduce the old job and maybe the Villager then connects to the lectern.
He has to lose his old job first.
