What do you call the village and how did that happen in Minecraft?

I'm currently playing Minecraft again and first found a village with a tower where the iron golem were locked in [lower picture] and there were villagers in gray with crossbows that seemed hostile because they shot at me and there were also some villager zombies and some buildings looked derelict. Does anyone know how that happened. Of the one village with the tower there was another village nearby [upper picture] where everyone lives in harmony, everything is peaceful there and the iron golem guard the village as usual. I just settled down there and the music seems to be very relaxed at the beginning, but sometimes there's music that just bissl for me Creepy sound echoes and so on and sometimes hear noises there. Does anyone know what that could mean?

The tower is a pilager outpost. Pillagers are "bad villagers" xD. You can use it e.g. Trigger a raid and pillagers try to storm and conquer a village and you have to defend it. It's best to watch a video about the Minecraft Village & Pillage Update.
