The console edition is no longer available
Java is the best version in my opinion. The performance is great. But best of all I find the modifications and texture packs that can be downloaded for free everywhere.

Bedrock is console addition?! And realms are simply servers in the Bedrock edition that you have to pay for so that everyone can play on them even if the owner is not in the world.
So Bedrock is mobile phone, Xbox, Ps4 and just the PC but there are both… And with other consoles like Switch, I don't know…

Console Edition = Pocket Edition and Realms is part of both versions, I play the Java version because of mods and more servers

Java edition. Because of the feel, the mods and the nice server software and because it runs natively on GNU / Linux.
