I wanted to play a round of Minecraft. Unfortunately, I can't log in. The number marked in green does not want to be deleted or cut. I can enter the correct password, but then it shows up as wrongly entered because of the number. Do I click on the "?" Next to the "Mojang Account (Email)" it says "if your account was created or migrated after November 2012, then you used your email or username". Unfortunately I can't enter anything into the email / username input. What do I do now?
Please read through completely!
You have to click on "GO BACK". Then you can register.
I don't know exactly why this happened since I've never experienced such a problem, but have you already deleted the launcher and reinstalled it? If yes: Did you also delete the files for .minecraft / path?
No, didn't uninstall the launcher, but thank you.
If I do that and try to sign in again, it doesn't recognize my email. I go to the official Mojang page and register there with the email. If I then try to edit something and register again with email, it says that it would be wrong. If I enter the number that is constantly displayed to me, then it says I should enter the email. I also don't know how it came about.
If you bought Minecraft before 2012, it must first be migrated to a Mojang account.
In the past, this was possible with a username, after the migration only with an email address.
If you only bought Minecraft in November this year, you need a Microsoft account. The Mojang account no longer works for new purchases.
From January 2021, all Mojang accounts will be migrated to Microsoft. Maybe that's the problem.
