Can I set my own variable like% appdata%, e.g.
% desktop% = C: \ Users \ Linus \ Desktop
% desktop% \ TestFolder = C: \ Users \ Linus \ Desktop \ Testfolder
With that I could e.g. Do Win + R and enter% desktop% \ Minecraft.ink and Minecraft would start
The Path variable is available for this purpose.
There you add the path to the Minecraft binary directory, then you can use Win + R
just enter "Minecraft" and the game starts. (If there's an .exe in the directory called Minecraft.exe)
Like what?
In the advanced system settings under Environment Variables. You can also create your own variables there, if you want.
Checked it

In the current win10 version you only have to expand a list; this single, semicolon-separated string no longer has to be adapted directly.
