At the end of 2018 it became known that there will be no new Minecraft update since the Aquatic update for the Ps3, PsVita, WiiU and Xbox 360. (That really made me cry because I started playing the FIRST Conselen version of Minecraft with the Xbox 360.)
Can anyone tell me why Mojang (Minecraft) does not give the (old) consoles a new Minecraft update?
I do not know exactly, but it may be that Microsoft as Mojang and XBOX owner has his fingers in the game to turn off a new console.
New features will need newer technology. Because if they leave the support still in the old consoles then those would only lag for some updates.
Because the newer version requires better performance, and the new consoles may provide many convenient program features that do not exist with old consoles.
