Which Minecraft version do you think makes the most sense?
I think 1.8.7 is the best. 1.9 and higher is kake.
Always had 1.12.2, but everything after that is also clear.
1.12.2 is still my favorite version
It always makes sense to ask a question. What do you define as meaningful? Realistic? PvP? Develop with command blocks or data packs? Are all arguments for different versions. I play a lot in 1.8 because I like to play PvP. So the most sensible version for me is 1.8
It depends on what you do.
If you play Vanilla Survival there's no reason not to play the latest version.
If you play PVP you should use 1.8.9.
If you play Modded then 1.7.10 or 1.12.2, depending on the mods.
If the server you like to play runs on 1.13.2, 1.13.2 is recommended, even if you could use 1.16.
There's simply no "best" version. Each has advantages and disadvantages.
I have currently installed.
1.12.2 for Wyncraft
1.8.9 for PvP
1.8.9 for Hypixel Skyblock
1.15.2 for Jurassic Skyblock
1.13.2 for UWMC
1.16 for reasons
and various modpacks in 1.7.10 or 1.12.2
And what about people who find the PvP system better from 1.9 and who still enjoy playing PvP?
They are welcome to play newer versions.
