I wanted to ask if it is worth it if I rent the cloud pc for 20 euro with the christmas offer at shadow and a 10 euro voucher for one month.
(if you know, I would like to gamble Star Citizen and since my rtx 2070 comes in late January I wanted to ask if I can just install the game on my pc and then log me in or I need to uninstall the game on the shadow pc [So it's like minecraft, that you can't gamble on both PCs at the same time or as with FS17, that you have to unlock the license again if you make a new pc])
No, it's not worth it. It costs you money that you would otherwise have. What do we dispense with? Spend a few days Star Citizen? Or even gamble for a few days with poor resolution. Nothing you can't do without.
Of worthwhile, there can be no question for me… Either you want it or not. You have to make the decision. I would be too annoying… And if I'm still wrong you have to wait some days at Shadow until the system is unlocked? Would be a reason to save me (if only) 20 euro.
What do you currently have for a hardware? Star Citizen is by far not as hardware hungry as it used to be, by the way, the opinions on ShadowDingens are pretty divergent, with some it does not work for some. I play SC with Ryzen 5 1500x, 16 GbRam and RX570 8 Gb and it runs quite decent.
I have a ryzen 7 2700x "16" gb (still 8gb ram but I'm likely to get my 8gb upgrade kit tomorrow) and a gtx 770
Should it work, you will not be able to gamble on high settings, but just try it. Important is the installation on the SSD that brings 10-15 FPS at SC.
Ssd I have a crucial bx500
is there actually a trick with 8gb ram?
I've seen something like that
Yes, it's enough to have only a "small" 250 SSD.
I also played with 8 gbRam about nine months ago for Arena Commander and Star Marine in PU I do not know.
I also read that you can only start the game if you have at least 12gb ram
Nonsense, with me we went with 8 GB synonymous, just just in PU has geruckelt as hell. Possible whites have already gotten better as there were some performance updates in between.
I'll probably only play arena commander anyway
No problem, always a pleasure.
Basically, I personally can't report anything bad from Shadow and would recommend you the service if nothing else is for you / comes into question.
But for one month I would not be so sure because setting up the shadow can take between 2-3 weeks. Therefore, I would say wait until the new Graka is there. Of course you are free to check your specs if you can't play SC.
Hope that the waiting time does not appear so long and wish you a lot of fun gambling.
Thank you
