You just don't have 30 lvl
Flatten more monsters to gain experience points. Raising baby animals and mining coal also helps with this.
Only when there's a yellow 30 on the bar between the hunger display and the life points can the magic work.
Download the MCC Tool chest PE. Then you can go to the inventory and level the enchantment up to believe 100,000
