A common problem I know is if you do not log in for a long time or suddenly from a new computer that the launcher does not accept the connection with the account until 1 to 2 hours later.
To test whether your account is still working just log on Minecraft.net, if it all works I would try again in 1 to 2 hours if the login works.
I also have pw reset ink. Everything tried, does not work on minecraft.net
