Minecraft always crashes when I want to go into a version older than 16.5?

For about 2 days I have had the problem that if I want to start in a version older than 16.5, for example 1.8.9 for Bedwars or others, the loading screen then briefly appears and then it closes again and I'm thrown back in Minecraft Launcher with the following message.

"The game crashed whilst unexpected error

Error: java.lang.RuntimeException: No OpenGL context found in current thread.

Exit code: -1

Ps: I play the Java Edition

Try it with an older Java version had the same error.
