I just bought Minecraft. When I started to launch the Minecraft Launcher I got the message: "Program can't be opened."
I have an old iMac from 2008, maybe it's because of it?

One of the most important things why MC does not start, because you need a Graka that supports DirectX 11, but your supports only maximum DirectX10.
So all in all, your PC is just too old even for Minecraft. I can only recommend something new to you.
