I accidentally opened a jar file with microsoft edge?

I accidentally opened a jar file with microsoft edge now it always opens with microsoft edge how can i undo this so i can install minecraft forge?

Delete the file and reinstall.

Then it should open as a jar again.

Right-click on the file "Open with" then select a program, e.g. Editor, and set it to be opened permanently. Otherwise, download the file again and open it without "permanent opening"
