I've been playing MC for a long time and when I got a new cell phone I couldn't log in anymore. The same problem has now appeared with a friend and I would like to know what is wrong.
I can't give you an exact answer. But I suspect that your data was most likely not saved or no longer exists.

Can it have anything to do with the fact that Mojang was taken over by Microsoft and you now need a Microsoft account?
I found a lot about PC's, but very little about cell phones.
We both already have a Microsoft account…
But you can no longer log into Mojang or Minecraft.net
